Wow.

Things are slowly falling back right into place. I seriously couldn't be more happy about the past week. Work and money is surprisingly very good, the friends are good, the weather is awesome (though a bit too hot).

I am in the process of diving right back into the writing of my debut graphic novel. Though a lot harder than I originally expected, it's been fun thus far. Definately looking forward to seeing how the whole thing unravels.

As always, I've been keeping myself busy with videogames haha. It's funny how I will always get super stoked over them even if I'm coming to an age where I am technically supposed to be thinking about starting a family and whatnot. Oh well, nobody likes you when you're 23.

Shitty old me feels like some things need to change very soon. I don't feel that much inclined to make them change myself, so I'll sit here and wait for them to manifest themselves.

I wish I could just forget about these words, notes, strumming patterns, melodies, and guitar picks. I just want to go back to college and start where I left off. A part of me keeps wanting that school/good boy lifestyle, full of these shallow people and shallow dreams.

Another part of me, which controls approximately 90% of my brain when I'm not sleeping just wants to keep playing music like a bum. No matter how hard I try to steer away from it it just lures me right back in.

To all my fellow ghosts lurking in the shadows, new music is coming your way. I promise. I have too much crap to get out of my system.

I feel like everything's going down these days. On the upside I get to meet so many cool, new people through Modern Ghost and I am more than happy to call most of them my friends now.

On the downside, I still have to deal with the shittiest human being on earth. You know when sometimes you have a really bad - scratch that - TERRIBLE impression of someone and once you finally meet them you convince yourself they're not as bad as you thought. Well, months later I realize that I should've never even come into contact with that person in the first place.

I am dumbfounded at how some people think so highly of themselves. Shitty human being, even shittier musician, and probably the dumbest/clueless guy I have ever met - but still he thinks the whole world is watching his every move and revolves around him.

Oh well. He's out now, and for good. The band can now move forward and hopefully - finally get a hold of that light at the end of the tunnel.

Speaking of which; I'm still working days and nights on this little dream of mine. Although I might have slowed down some of my ambitions I still think that some day people will catch on. I mean, heads are slowly turning our way and it feels good to know that all this work is starting to pay off, but we still have a long road ahead, and I mean that in every way possible.

I'm thinking of writing on here more often. It clears up my mind and stops my brain from feeling completely crumbled by all this nonsense.

I officially bought a laptop and couldn't be more happy about the investment. It feels good to finally being able to have my own portal to media, internet, and all the good stuff in between.

I am definately looking forward to tagging it along with me wherever I go and finally reply to all the myspace messages I've been getting on the band's profile.

The new layout is FINALLY done and up and running. After working so hard for over a year, writing songs and putting concept ideas together, I am finally able to let my baby live a life of its own.

I have to admit that though very relaxing, this process is and has been very stressful right from the get-go.

Many member changes, one too many EXTREMELY shitty people involved with the band, countless nights spent writing, scratching, writing some more and obsessing over the most ridiculous details.

Big thank you's to everyone who's support I couldn't live without. Parents, friends, loved one, you know it wouldn't be the same without you.

That being said, welcome to Satellite City where dreams do happen.

Pretty excited about the new tour dates for this summer. Obviously we have a lot more to come, but this looks like a pretty good start =)

June 12th - Clyde's, Pointe-Claire.

Juner 25th - La Chasse-Gallerie, Lavaltrie.
July 25th - Le Transit, Terrebonne (Headlining show).

It's funny how some of the greatest bands out there often exist in the darkness, away from the spotlight. I definately think Fightstar is one of the raddest bands of the past years. Their new album Be Human is pure gold, and I still can't wrap my head around how perfect it is.

It sucks because due to a lack of distribution I am probably never going to get my hands on a physical copy of any of their more recent work, but know that if I ever do I'll be the happiest man on earth and will leave everything unwrapped haha.

So yeah, today you should go out of your way and try to discover music that exists far off the main lands. Go and dig as deep as you can because some of the best music comes from the underground.

Oh, and if you live in the UK go to HMV and pick up the new Fightstar record.

and now is time to fetch me some Nine inch nails tickets for the Toronto show. Sooooo stoked =)

Here I am, shopping for the cheapest bmx online. Keeping it real, as always.

I can't wait for the new Deftones record, although I am still very sad that Chi is still in a coma.

It's weird because I miss him so much even though we've never met.
The deftones changed my life in so many ways, and it breaks my heart to see them in such a sad situation.

Come on Chi, we haven't forgotten about you.
You make the world a better place and your friends and family need you.

And now I'm off to watch the first Jackass movie.

Itching life away part one.

I officially got my first tattoo three days ago, and god knows how itchy my skin is right now. Tattoos are still a weird thing for me. As much as I couldn't care less about the colour and/or shape of my skin when I was born, it's weird to think that whatever part of my body I decide to get tattooed will never look the same compared to the pictures my parents have taken of me over the years.

So yeah, William HB deffinaly lived up to my expectations and his reputation. I took it all in like a champ in an awful five hour session. Longest day of my life.

It's funny how, in momments of hazardous pain, pop music can make everything go by a lot faster.

Very, very, very nice!

So, last night I woke up all sweaty and stuff with a song in my head. Turned on the lights, grabbed a guitar, and started to write.

I can't believe how fast some songs can come to fruition while others take FOREVER to make.

The progress chart for the album is getting quite lengthy, and that's a really really really good thing in my books.

I think there's only something like 2 weeks of school left for Myles. I'm so happy to finally get back to the studio and see the album come to life.

Alright, time to go hit the Nintendo.

Suupppp.

So I'm still knees deep into the Modern Ghost writing sessions. This new album is shaping up to be quite a ride, and most definately the best material I've ever written in my life.
It'll be hard to pick the tracks that are gonna make it on the actual record. I'm in love with everything I've been coming up with thus far, and at the rate things are going I'll have a lot more than expected.

Sooooo, I recently developped a full-fledged addiction to 7up. No jokes. I don't know what's gotten into me, but I am liking this lemon-flavored thingy.
So whoever owns 7up, make sure you hook me up with a lifetime supply of those ... please.

Alright, enough with the rambling. Time to watch a movie or two.

Alright, so as always everything I lay my hands on manages to fall apart. Literally.

But I'm back from the states, and it feels good (sort of) to be home.

Modern Ghost is back to the studio with a new, fully developped, awesome extended line-up.

Life over here is good, but I sincerely couldn't wait to get my groove on and take the fuck off.

So I haven't blogged in years (5 days, really). A lot of you (probably just one) have been wondering where in the world is Pierre - Well, to tell you the truth I was here all along, BUT when a computer decides to break down and fall apart AND you don't have any computer skills whatsoever what do you do really?

I'll tell you what I did.

I went to Future shop and bought a ridiculous amount of movies - Including my oh so favorite, The Dark Knight - and watched them all whilst being buried alive in a boatload of shitty blankets.

That's what I did folks. Like a real man, I ran away and retrieved until my mom finally announced me that the good ol' comp was up and running again. =)

So that's that.

So I know for fact that a lot of people out there know me from my band, and that's mucho cool. I also know and remember that a long time ago (last week) before my computer imploded, I promised you something.

So there it is. I am super duper sorry for being late and for having you wait a little longer.
